In 2015, Daren Henson founded Henson Patriot M & A as a DBA of Henson Patriot Limited. Utilizing his extensive knowledge of business management and his ability to educate clients through the transaction process, Daren achieved early success. Recognizing the need for a partner, he invited Bernie Wilimitis, a long-time colleague, to join him. This partnership led to the formation of Patriot Mergers and Acquisitions. Bernie brought a similar background in business management and ownership, as well as shared business ethics and a drive for results.

Daren and Bernie have been colleagues for over 25 years, navigating through various corporate structures, technology start-ups, and business procurement, ownership, and sale. Throughout their careers, they maintained regular communication, shared advice, and supported each other’s efforts.

Daren served in the United States Army for 7 years as an Airborne Ranger, earning commendations for combat operations in Panama and Iraq. Bernie served in the United States Army National Guard for 8 years as an anti-tank missile squad leader.

With two decades of experience and education, Daren and Bernie have partnered together to assist business owners in navigating the sale of their businesses and helping business buyers achieve their goal of business ownership.
