Galway Capital L.P, an affiliate of the Galway Group, is a boutique investment firm based in Houston, Texas. Our firm specializes in providing energy-based financial advisory services, private equity placements of debt and equity, and acquisition or divestiture strategies. With a team comprised of former senior executives in the energy sector, we offer a full range of registered capital market transactional services to our clients.

At Galway Capital, our advisory methodology involves conducting thorough financial analyses of proposed business plans and determining strategic alternatives for capital structures. Our experienced energy professionals provide advice on equity options, prepare private placement memoranda, distribute information to selected equity sources, evaluate offers, assist with negotiations, and work towards closing transactions to our clients’ satisfaction.

In order to provide various options of project financing, Galway Capital has developed relationships with numerous private capital firms, institutions, and international merchant banks. This allows us to offer senior debt, subordinated debt, convertible securities, equity, venture capital, and structured finance options to our clients.

We are registered with the Securities and Exchange Commission as a securities broker/dealer and are proud members of the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) and the Securities Investor Protection Corporation (SIPC). Additionally, we are registered with the Texas State Securities Board as a broker/dealer.

Our Managing Directors, Mr. Hal Miller and Mr. Robert Stibolt, bring a wealth of experience in the energy and financial industry. Mr. Miller has a background in engineering, strategic planning, and finance within the energy industry. He has held various positions with companies such as Phillips Petroleum, Colorado Interstate Gas, Transco Energy, and The Williams Companies. Mr. Miller is registered as a General Securities Representative (Series 7) and General Securities Principal (Series 24) with FINRA.

Mr. Stibolt’s experience in the energy industry includes economic evaluation and risk analysis for E&P companies. With his expertise, we are able to provide comprehensive and informed advice to our clients.
